The latest issue of Boston Accent Lit includes a poem from myself, “The Soul That Sees.” It’s essentially a take-off on Wordsworth’s idea that we “half create” our world, and half perceive it (or, if you like, O’Shaughnessy’s “Ode,” famously quoted by Mr. Willy Wonka: “We are the music makers,/And we are the dreamers of dreams”).
So much in this one – an epic quality to it. Not a single word wasted, though. And that final line reads like a call to arms.
